Abada Capoeira Classes Now at Werdum Nantucket, All Ages Welcome

We've added Abada Capoeira to the schedule at Werdum Training Center Nantucket, with classes for all ages on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 8 PM.

Capoeira is where I started, long before Jiu-Jitsu. I grew up in Capao Bonito, Brazil, training under Master Camisa of Abada before I ever put on a gi, and bringing it to the island has been on my mind since we opened.

For anyone who hasn't seen it: Capoeira is a Brazilian art that blends movement, music, and self-defense into a game played in a circle called the roda. It builds coordination, rhythm, and confidence, and kids and adults can train side by side.

No experience necessary, and nothing to buy to get started. Come in comfortable clothes you can move in.
